Still going strong.

Los Angeles, Ca
The Lakers continue to roll with a second win over in conference Denver Nuggets 104-90 Friday night. Five Lakers scored in double figures. Kobe Bryant had an efficient night scoring 29 pts in 29 minutes despite shooting a 30ft air ball in the third, Bynum and LO had 13 a piece, Pau had 12, and Slash continued his solid efforts with 11 points off the bench. Andrew also had 13 boards along with his 13 pts for his second double-double of the season. Los Angeles finished the game shooting 48% after a solid 62% in the first half against a Denver team that looked outmatched most of the evening. Denver stars, Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups were held to 11 of 31 shooting, netting only 25 points. They did get 18 from Nene, but that was not enough to stop the Lakers from beating them for the 9th straight time, including last years sweep in the first round of the playoffs.
Los Angeles now hosts the Sacramento Kings on Sunday evening at 6:30. The Kings (5-9) are coming off a 117-96 loss to the Trailblazers on Friday. The Lakers have won 4 of the last 6 vs Sacramento at Staples. Those wins coming by way of an 18.5 point margin. Kobe Bryant is averaging just over 25 pts in 35 career games against the Kings.
